We work in different departments and we rarely see each other but in passing going to our destinations. Ironically I first met him when we accidently bumped into each other at our food cafeteria . I had some food in my hand and it all fell on the floor ,he was frantic and he apologized and offered to get me lunch.I think he is so handsome and funny and ever since then we'll make eye contact in passing and not say anything to each other lame I know. I was shy in making conversation. This went on for two months. So last week we were passing each other in the hall and he asked me about the food I made when we bumped into each other. He was basically saying it looked good and what type of ingredients were in it etc blah blah . We had a brief discussion about it where we laughed and talked for a good minute. We seem to have a lot of things in common. He also confided in me that his manager was considering promoting him to be an assistant manager and how nervous he was and that he doesn't think he has what it takes to be one. I gave him some encouragement and told him to believe in himself and that he can do anything he puts his mind to. He looked up at me where we kind stared into each others eyes for about 5 seconds it was very brief and a little awkward. He asked me what was my zodiac sign and I told him I'm Scorpio.. He looked down and smiled and said oh your Scorpio huh? I was like yep got a birthday coming soon. After that he gave me a hug and told me he would talk to me later that he had to get back to work. Was him asking about my sign was to see if me and him were compatible or was it just out of curiosity? I like him and I like our vibe so far but I'm not so sure if he's just being friendly or if he's into me. Link to post Share on other sites

d0nnivain Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 I think everything he's doing is showing some sign of interest but that doesn't get you over the hurdle of working together. See if you can find a way to get him out of the office. Arrange a group happy hour after work & invite him along; see if he'll have lunch with you out of the building or if he'll at least sit with you in the cafeteria. Link to post Share on other sites
