I need some tips

Right, so it has been a while since I have posted but I have run into an issue in something rather annoying. I am trying to get with a girl, I have had a crush on her for months now and I am finding it really hard to ask her the question. The first problem is her friends, they are always around and if I try to ask her when they are about, things can get weird and awkward. The second problem is actually asking her, I have never felt so shy around anyone in my life but I really want to ask her out.

If anyone can give tips or any good information about this particular subject, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

So, basically, you want to ask her out but:

1. You have to do it when she's alone, which is difficult

2. You feel shy when you're next to her

Would you please give me more details about your current relationship with her?

Yes, both correct. She is constantly around her friends and I can't get a moment to talk with her. I am constantly thinking that I might have to do it when her friends are around, but I am trying to avoid that scenario.

Me and her are friends, we don't spend too much time talking though because she is always with a group of friends and I don't want to just jump into the group because it may annoy her or make me seem bad.

If that's the case it would be good to at least chat with her via internet, just to keep contact every other day. This is crucial.

Before asking her out, you too should get a bit more intimate. That means:

1. Be friendly (but not her friend, you don't want that)

2. Be interesting. Don't just stick to small talk, you must have deeper conversations with her about different issues, so she thinks "wow, this guy is not just pretty/funny, he's also smart!".

3. Be intriguing. Don't be an open book, that's boring. Do things like talking to her before going to sleep and say something like "hey I forgot to tell you something, but I'll tell you tomorrow, gotta go to bed". That will keep her wondering and thinking about you.

If you're just "smart", she won't be interested in more than a friendship. Same goes with being just friendly. You have to be BOTH, but start being friendly. If you follow these simple steps you will get her attention. Works for me. Being intriguing is a plus, a big one.

Oh, and one more tip.

Sometimes you might feel like you're boring. Keep in mind that you can't be boring if you put feeling in your words. Rather than just talk about things you do, talk about how you feel about them. THIS IS KEY.

Thank you so much. I will try this out. I will at least now not be lost when trying to talk to her. Just to clarify, on the third point you are saying a bit of secrecy is good to keep her curious about me and may make he want to know more???
