How do I get my crush to notice me more?

Recommended Posts

I really like this guy in my college class. But the problem is we have so many kids in our class (Like 300) so we don't really see each other. We have only talked like 3 times but the second time we talked it was amazing... like I felt this connection with him and now I want to talk to him more. The last time he saw me, he smiled and said hi and we kinda had a short chat before he left. I was so honored that he remembered me. He also never asked for my name and I don't know his name... I don't know if he would be interested in me but I like him. What do I do? Also I usually end up sitting with my friend but I wanna make an excuse to say something so I can find him to talk to him more

Go sit by him. Tell your friend she's on her own today. All you have to do is keep smiling and saying hi and have a chat when he's around, and IF he is interested in you and isn't taken or crushing on someone else (most people are), he knows he can ask you out.

Do ask him to study with you. Also find out something about him -- is he on a team? is a he a member of a fraternity? what dorm does he live in? Show up where he'll be.

Definitely go up and talk to him. Ask him if you can borrow his notes or something and strike up a conversation xD

We actually were in the same club in college and I have his number and Snapchat now. I had the balls to ask that xD but now I'm trying not to seem clingy..

I'm in a similar situation with you OP. There is a girl in class that I like. (Well not anymore, I asked her out and she said no) At the start of every semester when the teacher is taking roll, I write down the names of every girl I find attractive, look them up on Facebook, find out who's single and taken, and then I choose a girl to sit by who's single and attractive.

What you want to do is sit by the person you like, preferebly early on in the semester because by 4th or 5th class, students have already established where they're going to sit at the start of the semester.

However you're still okay with sitting by him.

But you're going to need a plan to strike up a conversation with him. Ask him about an assignment coming up, ask him for a pencil, anything to break the ice. Once you break the ice, it doesn't really matter what you say from them on. Just make sure you smile, act interested, elaborate on what you say and you should be fine.

Smile at him a lot, make eye contact when you smile, and then look down after a count of 3.

Honestly, every guy is different, but as an attractive college guy who does get hit on quite a bit, I'd say that if a girl straight up asks me to hang out, I might say 'yes,' but I'm probably calling her a friend.

Honestly, if a girl is always laughing at my jokes, but doesn't do a WHOLE lot in terms of chasing me, that's when I fall. It's the not knowing.

But then, at some point, you're going to have to be a bit clear that you like him.

My 2 cents is that this is really good advice. Be attentive and open, but leave a bit of mystery.
