Today I started school and after talking with this girl for less than an hour she gives me her number. If you can sustain a reasonable level of small talk and are sociable chances are you will do much better offline, as you are seperating yourself from those who lack the confidence or motivation to approach women. d0nnivain Posted August 22, 2017 Share Posted August 22, 2017 I'm a woman. I came of ages decades before OLD; personal ads were relegated to the back of magazines & generally frowned upon. In my late 30s I found myself single, middle aged & out of practice in the infancy of OLD. I tried it & was completely demoralized. I could get picked up any night of the week & twice on Saturdays in any bar but I wanted more. OLD was not my answer. I didn't do it for long. Shortly thereafter I met my husband at a business card exchange. OLD is a tool. However it's not the be all, end all only option. 2 Link to post Share on other sites
