Raw Thoughts on Romantic Relationships

Recommended Posts

These are my raw thoughts on romantic relationships between men and women. I would like to hear yours as well. Some things may be repeated as this was off the top of my head.

People usually stumble into Romantic Relationships. We are constantly told from our social media that we are lacking if we don't have a romantic relationship after age 16.

The pattern is usually this in order.

#1Men have to convince the Women to be their GF. Usually the man is in lust mode.

#2 Women try to turn the guy into her BF. She wants to settle down for the most part.

#3 Both Sexes Mutually want to be together. Rare that it comes about.

Men have more shelf life being a Playboy if they want from age 20 to 70 if they want. Women are not like that.

Men primarily are more lust/physical affection based. Women like to romanced.

I think most women have better radar on who likes them and can get into romantic relationships easier than men. Yet they are the higher maintance partner out of the two.

One person has the power most of the time. Whoever wants the relationship least has the most power.

Most guys are restless esspecially if they are younger. Most men don't want to be father in their 20's. 30+ at the earliest.

The more a man is a Yes man to his Woman. The more she will get bored and move on.

Its almost better if a woman is a little bit more into the guy than vice versa. It seems like the relationship will last longer. If the guy is more into the girl, it almost always falls apart.

The more cut and dry things are. The more they will work out So if you really want a great relationship. Its best to make sure when your dating. Don't let a pregnancy happen on either side. That means protection is a must.

Romantic Relationships need to be tended to on a daily basis. Like working out and eating right. From the time you begin it or end it.

Women usually want out before the man. If the man wants out. Its usually because he really feels like she is cold or can't give him the love he needs.

I think that 80% of us are going to be in and out of relationships from age 16 to when we pass away. All that is going to happen is that the people we meet and have romantic relationships will slow down the quantity. For the most part most people want that romantic relationship. Most likley we will be with 7 people in our lifetime.

Best age to get married or settle down I would say is late 20's. That way most people would have burned out the facination to be with different people romantically.

Once again. Women can get into relationship eaiser, but are higher maintanence in the romantic relationship. Guys have it harder to get in, but are lower maintanence in the relationship.

Lasting relationships pattern is coming together for at least 2-3 yrs. No one gets pregnant. Not livign together right away. Getting married in yr 3 or 4.

Falling apart in a marriage is coming together right away. Getting pregnant very soon after. Living together and no real plan. That relationship will break apart.

Most women usually want kids. So as a man. You will have to go with it for the most part.

If I were parting any wisdom on guys. Don't bother sleep with a woman with out your own store bought protection. Actually don't even bother unless she is your GF.

Men are with women primarily for physical affection. Companionship as well. Yet most guys have their guy friends for the companionship and they need their guy friends. Men don't want to go or do the mundane stuff with their GF's. If you can do it on your own just do it. Its not like Guys want their GF's to come comicbook/video game shopping with them.

Guys come in three packages. Mr.No. Mr. Yes. Mr. Reasonably Negotiations.

The 20's set is usually fickle. Women have a lot of option in that age group. So guys its better if she wants to turn you into her BF than you trying to get her to be your GF.

Relationships change over time. Not everybody stays the same. I always feel like some women use their hormones and ups and downs as a way to test guys. Where guys don't do that as much.

When I talk to my women friends. They always come off like they need constant attention.

Anyways I will stop for now. Thanks for viewing my post.

Perfect for blowing off steam for a few minutes at work... :p

Yes true

The pattern is usually this in order.

Agreed. Women filter out the ones they don't want. However, guys are sometimes so preoccupied with getting a 'yes' that they mess with women who 'pick them', use them for sex or keep it going too long.

Men have more shelf life being a Playboy if they want from age 20 to 70 if they want. Women are not like that.

Yes

Nobody should ever have 'power'. Power implies you either look upon your partner as more or lesser than you and you should never do that.

Its almost better if a woman is a little bit more into the guy than vice versa. It seems like the relationship will last longer. If the guy is more into the girl, it almost always falls apart.

IMHO, it should be even steven, like buddies. I understand some people like to play the lust/passion/male/female dynamic/50 shades of puke grey...games, games, games. Not me...

No, it shouldn't be work. It should be easy. Treat you partner like a best friend. Anything more is games and high maintenance.

Women usually want out before the man. If the man wants out. Its usually because he really feels like she is cold or can't give him the love he needs.

Other way around. Men have trouble getting into relationships, but once they are in, they want to run first.

All that is going to happen is that the people we meet and have romantic relationships will slow down the quantity. For the most part most people want that romantic relationship. Fairly true.

Best age to get married or settle down I would say is late 20's. That way most people would have burned out the facination to be with different people romantically.

Best age to get married/settle down is 'the later the better'. We are continuously finding out more succinctly who we are. However, getting married at 59 would not be condusive to having a family.

Once again. Women can get into relationship eaiser, but are higher maintanence in the romantic relationship. Guys have it harder to get in, but are lower maintanence in the relationship.

Women have most everything easier. But who gives a sh@t. Some people have everything handed to them in life. Focus on those who have it less easy than you.

Most men want kids too...

Women are more smothering than guys typically yes.

Women are more social creatures. I have rarely met a woman who is a true introvert, in that she truly prefers to be alone. Even the women I know who are alone a lot of the time, they go to events alone and broadcast it on Facebook. OTOH, I know tons of guys who live their lives in a shell. Thinking about this dynamic for a second will give you a lot of clues as to how the two sexes approach dating.

Anyways I will stop for now. Thanks for viewing my post.
