bmne90 Posted September 17, 2016 Share Posted September 17, 2016 Hello all, I'm a 25 year old guy who can't seem to get a girlfriend. I've always been kind of shy, and it's safe to say I have no game whatsoever. I try to strike up conversations with different girls I meet, but every conversation always ends up with no results. People don't seem to believe me when I say that I've never really had a girlfriend, but it's true. I'm decent-looking, not that picky, with a good personality who would give the world to a girl. I always feel jealous seeing couples holding hands in public, and always wish I could have that as well. I've had no success lately whatsoever, and I'm starting to feel like giving up. There are three books you can read that may change your life and your outlook. This may help you interact more authentically with members of the opposite sex. The first: 'Quiet' by Susan Cain Could explain your character type and help you understand yourself The Second 'Awareness' by Anthony De Mello May help you overcome any mistaken certainties you have formed through your life. The Third 'What Happy People Know' by Dan Baker Could just all around help you and put you at ease, maybe your young enough not to need this. I'm a young woman with near to no dating experience and I'm struggling to find someone whom I can connect with. I am younger than you by some years but believe me when I say I still feel the absence of a partner. I remain faithful that I will find someone, most of the time, however as I know not every fish that gets hooked on your line is able to be reeled in and brought home. Yes for some every time they put their rod in the water they catch a fish but they are the exception not the rule.
