Cheap 1st dates that get yes's

getting online dating matches. first couple i did were drinks (i don't drink coffee). always pay for girl (etiquette, IMO). but getting expensive.

 

I'd be happy to go to a scenic park, hang out etc. though I find an enclosed space (e.g. bar) gets more yes's.

 

QUESTION 1. what should I propose?

 

QUESTION 2. How? e.g. how many messages in? do i first ask her where she lives so we can find a location? should i inquire about her preferences? etc.

Always a bit of a back and forth game.

 

Quick first dates with opportunities for either to exit are key. If you go for coffee, get tea or a chai or anything else on the menu. Bars and coffee are easy. Quick dinner like at an event with street vendors works.

 

Aim for sooner than later when proposing dates. Within two or three replies I'll ask for a number or drop mine and move to texts to pin down a location. You can almost never be too fast asking for a number and a date if your online profile and demeanour suggest you aren't just going for the hookup.

Find out what she likes to drink and go to a location that has drink specials with that drink. For example, if she likes martinis, don't take her to a place that has $14 martinis. Take her to a place that has 2 for 1 specials or just lower cost martinis.
