You could offer information - e.g., say I'll send you that link to the music video (or info on whatever subject you've been discussing), if you give me your number. johndoe2 Posted May 17, 2015 Share Posted May 17, 2015 I've never really even gotten as far as asking for a woman's number before; I mean I've gotten the numbers of women who I already knew (had classes with), but even I was interested, they certainly were under the impression that we were at most friends. In fact, I have never gone on a date with a woman I didn't meet online. Some say 'well you never know until you just ask for women's number number.' But in my case, I've never managed to keep a woman's attention long enough to get the chance to ask her. In bars, for example, they always just turn away to talk to their friends or take their drinks and go back to their table within a couple minutes of talking before I get the chance. Short of just asking for a woman's number within 60 seconds of meeting her, not much to be done. I think bars only work for meeting women if you're handsome and have lots of friends in any case. Start talking to someone a little and give them a reason to want to talk to them more -- not just mindless chit-chat. One way or another, you have to invoke some sort of feeling in the person. Acknowledge it with a warm smile & do a bogus distraction like play with your phone. If she's still looking, walk over to her & smile as you hand her your card and walk away without saying a word or looking back. You would be shocked. You do have cards made up?
