Hello everyone,

I met this guy through my volunteer organization. We have always been flirty and we communicate extremely well. The thing is this all started when I was 17, and he is 9 years older than me. He got sent abroad for his firm. He is like the male version of me to the T. We did some kissing when I was 17 and that was it, as with our age difference we felt it was best to stop it. We didn't talk for two years. Then we start talking again as he starts to come in. This is now 5 years after the fact and he is back in the states and only a few hours away. We haven't talked the last year or so. But since he has been back we have been talking like old friends. I feel that he has always been strange towards our age difference. Even though we have great communication and chemistry when we hang out. I am now almost upper 20s. If we started a relationship I feel like it would not be commented on as I have a college degree and finishing up my masters. We have both agreed we have always been in wrong place wrong time. What could be ways we could make it better for us? It's obvious for interactions we have stayed into each other.

Age is really just a number. If you really think you guys like each other, why don't you try going out? Honestly, I think older guy should be more understanding, forgiving and loyal because they have more experience in life. Someone I know married a guy 20 years older than her and she is very happy now. He is really loving and the best man I have ever seen. :)
