In OLD, when's a good time to write someone?

What action by another user would be considered an "invitation" to write an e-mail to them? For example, if a girl "likes" your photo, would that be an invitation to further correspondence? Or does that usually mean nothing more than "she liked something (not necessarily even you) in the photo? How about a wink? How about a "favorite"?

On the other hand, if a girl views your profile and doesn't do anything (no photo likes, no winks, no nothing), would you be making a fool of yourself by trying to contact them in any way? That is, by e-mailing them or just by "liking" their photos?

E-mail any girl you find attractive. Any time you want. Doesn't matter. If you are worried about looking stupid, don't. You're online. 1/2 the time she won't even read it.

Don't ever like photos or "wink" or anything like that. If you like the photo, write her and tell her why. Make it interesting and somehow connect it to yourself. If a girl views your profile without any action on your part, then shoot her a message if you like her. You've got to send out a lot of messages in order to succeed online as a man. Women probably won't be contacting you.

If somebody likes you or winks at you, that is an invitation for further contact. The woman is drawing your attention to her.

Yes, you might as well assume that all of those are an invitation to write and say hello.

I wouldn't assume anything from it. Write to her if you want to. Don't write "you looked at my photo so when can we get a drink" but apart from that you'll be fine.

I would need to answer your question with a question. ... Why on Earth would you NEED an invitation?
