notsointerested Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 One of the main reasons why I can't get a girlfriend is because I keep worrying that I'll lose the girl and I end up being too clingy, and end up putting her off. Sometimes if I'm texting a girl I like and she doesn't respond within a few hours, I get restless because I feel like she is ignoring me. of course she may be busy but that thought sometimes runs through my mind. It's like some sort of unnecessary fear they have but it's all made up in their heads. Don't worry about it. A woman who is into you will not even notice this because she will be acting the same way. I grew up & dated in a era before cell phones. It wasn't uncommon to have to wait at least a day to hear back from somebody. Make that your bench mark -- 24 hours. I've learned some valuable lessons, including my ex wasn't just worth it anymore.
