Just can't talk to this girl I like

Recommended Posts

So I'm at college & this girl normally waits at the same Bus stop as me, and she goes to the same college. I've never had the guts to approach her. It just seems like it would look creepy, and she gets on the 2 same buses I get on.

It just seems like destiny that we would get together and have 2 bus rides to get on together, I see her at the bus stop at random days though.

I have gained so much confidence these past 2 years but still not enough to make a conversation with a girl. I'm 18 and I think it's the best time to find a girl, especially in college, as it would be a lot easier.

Not being cocky but I'd say I'm fairly good looking and I've had interest from girls in the past, but just never had the confidence to take advantage.

I know I'll regret it in a few years, I'll be saying "Damn, that college was full of girls but I was too much of a wuss to of done anything"

So what are you waiting for? Just go talk to the girl or else you will never find out if there could be anything between you two. Just be confident but warm and friendly at the same time. But before anything else, you have to make sure that you have the ability to take no as an answer.

I'd say just go for it, despite your self proclaimed 'lack of confidence'. :)

Otherwise, you're always going to have the 'what if' scenarios in the back of your mind, haunting your indecision.

Just strike up a conversation along the lines of what you said here:

That you're both frequently taking the bus, and attend the same college.

Ask her which courses she takes, etc. , etc.

Try to determine if she has a boyfriend by asking stuff like 'So, do you share any hobbies together with your bf ?'

Stuff along those lines.

Truth is, the majority of the time you're going to get rejected.

Probably even moreso as a man than a woman, but even IF that happens, see it as a learning experience.

Regardless, my final advice for this situation is just go for it.

Be yourself, don't be nervous and above all: BE CONFIDENT. :p
