Laprus9
Hi Guys and Girls, I need your assistance. Last weekend a girl I know was having a conversation with me and out of nowhere she asked me if I had a girlfriend, I replied no and asked her if she had a boyfriend and she said no, but she was seeing someone but is too busy with examinations to have time for a dating life. I like her and really want to ask her out for coffee so we can get to know each other better, but I don't want to risk scaring her off by asking her if she only sees me as a friend as I enjoy our conversation and I think she is pretty amazing. So is she interested or is it something a girl will ask a guy friend to take an interest in his life?
Salvatore85
What would it hurt to ask? If she truly values your friendship than she'll be nice about it if she's not interested and at the same time you get to continue your friendship. I know it sucks sometimes, especially if you really like her, but having female friends can be great. My female friends kickass and give me some of the best advice. Mind you I've friend zoned the majority of them and they've been completely cool about it, well except for one lol.
travelbug1996
ask her out and see. that's the only way you'll know. I wouldn't ask someone if they had a gf unless i was somewhat interested.
Author Laprus9
Well I plucked up the courage to ask her if she wanted to go out sometime and she said yes, but she didn't seem all that interested, no smiles, just a straight face and that was it, so I shall see what happens, I am not expecting anything to happen as she doesn't seem interested, but if she isn't then it's cool, I'll just be friends with her as I do like her as a friend anyway. Thanks for your replies.
