How do you talk to women?

Recommended Posts

I was told a good way to meet women is to just start chatting up random women you encounter, unfortunately I find this actually extremely difficult as women in general seem to really really dislike men they don't know or don't find instantly attractive talking to them, which is understandable, but what am I supposed to do when I literally get ZERO indicators of interest by any women ever.

Also I find that when I do just decide to strike up a conversation (no I'm not throwing pick-up lines at them just relevant conversation starters), tell a joke, or whatever and introduce myself women generally aren't interested at all, and I can feel that they feel that I'm bothering them and they seem really annoyed causing the conversation to get awkward quickly.

I noticed also especially if I decide to talk to Asian women and sometimes white women they seem to get a bit frightened and extremely uncomfortable if I try to talk to them, but I don't push it and just walk away. I am Black myself so this probably has something to do with it especially combined with my social ineptitude (okay I'm not really inept since I got friends but when it comes to the dating scene yeah I'm pretty inexperienced).

It depends on the setting. The clichés are good openers: nice weather we're having or do you think it will ever stop snowing?

A genuine smile helps. Socially acceptable distance makes a difference; don't crowd her.

What's wrong with smiling and saying hello?

Keep chatting up women. Some will be receptive to it, some won't. But it's good experience for you either way. Cold approaching is one of the most difficult ways to find dating partners, because you don't know the relationship status of the person you are approaching, and you don't know what type of man they would consider dating or what they are attracted to. That is why OLD is easier in that regard, because you know the other person is interested in dating someone, and their profile states their preferences about who they would consider dating. I think it's a good idea to try many different options in where to find women (cold approaches, OLD, meetup groups, interest groups, having a friend to introduce someone they know, etc.) The more avenues you try, the greater your chance of success, but also the more rejections you will experience. Don't be afraid of rejection, and don't limit yourself to only one form of meeting people.

nothing, and I do that, but it doesn't really help lead to conversation they'll either flat out ignore or at best just acknowledge with another hello and be on their way, most people aren't all that friendly in my experience.

what has your experience been when you talk to black women? Do they ignore you or make fun of you?

Have you ever tried to watch and imitate the successful black guys who are players?
