Instead of letting it get me down (it did earlier, but im better now) I am posting this here to meet some people in my area to hang out with and to help me cope. If you are male or female, and live in the Houston area, doesnt matter where, please reply here. I want to meet some people who have been through similar experiences and make some new friends. I recently had to give up all of my friends as well. I was a drug addict and they are too, I gave drugs up, but they didnt, so I am alone. Hats off to you also for terminating your friendships with your former fellow druggies. Have patience and you will make great new friends who will have a lot to offer you. Meanwhile, we're here to help you cope. It's not a good idea to set out right away to make friends to help you get through your pain. That's not what friends are for, at least not initially.
