Something....nothing....overanalyzing?

Recommended Posts

So my sister and I go to our friend Laura's church on Sunday (about 45 minutes from our house, we were at her cottage for the weekend), and there's this super cool guy there (considering there are like 30 people at the church I was shocked!) laura knows the family really well, and she tells me that he's only 19 (I'm almost 21). but he doesn't look it...god, he had it all! beautiful eyes, super cool hair, nice tan, little bit of ruggedness (2 earrings, a little scruff, and a cool tattoo on his inner wrist)! turns out, he works in town, and we end up giving him a drive into town on our way home! (of course, the girls put him in the back with me.i was like poor guy!)anyways, he has awesome taste in music...Counting Crows, U2, bands I love.he can even sing....I was like "where have you been all my life!"

Anyway, he seemed pretty quiet, and I am pretty shy when it comes, so I didn't talk to him that much, even though I wanted to. Laura is VERY outgoing and came right out and said "so Aaron, do you have a g/f?" i nearly died. turns out though, he says "no, I haven't in a while, actually" i was like hmmmm. then at another point during the drive he mentioned one time he was on his motorbike with an old g/f and wiped out...i was like, "what does this mean?"

sooo sorry this was long and detailed, but I didn't want to forget anything. I can never tell if a guy is interested, but how do I make it known that I am and find out the same from him w/o seeming totally ditzy, desperate, etc?!

Why not just casually ask him to the movies? Used to work for me!

Too forward??

Well I think life is too short, look, what’s the worst that could happen!?!?!?!

Otherwise, try to find out what he likes doing and if there are some mutual hobbies then initiate a meeting in that respect!

Go for it Gal!

or for coffee, if the movies seem too "date-like." or maybe for a snack or lunch after church, meeting at a music or bookstore ... the possibilities are endless.

I think what he was referring to about the ride on the motor bike where he "wiped out" was that he and his passenger took a spill, or fell off, the bike!
