candykisses Posted July 22, 2007 Share Posted July 22, 2007 There's this guy who I see almost everyday at work, we do not work togehter, we work at the same airport. He comes comes by where I work every morning and we are always smiling at each other. When he comes by with some of his co workers he still looks my way and smiles. He came over to my work counter to drop off something and the entire time he walked up to my counter he looked down at the ground,(shy I believe) but from a small distance he always looks and smiles. His job requires him to ride a bike while he is at work and he will ride around in front of my counter and look in but that is it. So the problem is, whenever he comes by I am always with someone(customer) and I want to get to know him and ask him for a drink or something but it's hard because of the fact that I am so busy. I told one of my friends who has a lot more freedom to walk around where he may be to give him a note with my name and number on it and said call if interested. Is this too forward? Would this make him think that I'm too pushy? Should I be the one to approach him? But if I wait then it could be too long before I get the chance. Honestly, Candy, thats seems pretty safe : worst case scenario he has a GF and is immensley flattered and always remembers the cutie who got away ! worst case, you lose somone who smiles at you, it WILL happen again see I'm smiling right now !
