Why Does She Act Like This?

Recommended Posts

So I work with this girl and I was telling her a story about a female customer that complimented. I told her that she was pretty attractive and I would take her out rollerblading if I had the chance.

The girl I work with then told me I should take her rollerblading. I asked her if she rollerblades and she told me no. She then went on to say that she would learn or something.

She also told me that she gives me tips and pointers with work because she likes me. I don't know if she meant as a friend or what.

The other the day she organized my papers into a nice neat pile after I just threw them together. Yesterday she told me again to just put them over there because she was going to tidy them up for me.

Yesterday I came back from break and I was tapping my fingers vigorously on the counter because I was annoyed about something. she asked me what was wrong. I told her nothing and throughout the day she kept trying to get me to talk. She also told me to feel better and that she loved me. Also, when I was getting ready to leave she told me that she loved me again.

She also caught the fact that my shoe was untied so I asked her to tie and she gladly did it.

Today, she said I can tell something is wrong, so I told her this week has been rough and she said "aww do you want a hug". I told her no, that I was fine. She asked a little while later if things were better. After that she said that she comes into work to please me while smiling.

She has also told me multiple times to smile. She got upset when a friend told me something that made me smile and she responding by saying "I don't know why you will smile for him but not me".

I've known her for 4-5 months but this stuff has started to happen within the last several weeks. Why would a girl tell a guy that she barely knows that she loves him? I'm 22 and she's 19 if that helps.

Well, that escalated quickly! :lmao:

This 19 year old girl seems to really like you but might not quite know about appropriate boundaries. Maybe you should ask her to go rollerblading?

She's flirting with you. Ask her out.

Don't get hung up on the work "love". She loves her BFF, ice cream, the latest boy band & her favorite color too. It's a word not a plea for a life time commitment.

She sounds a bit obsessive.

I got a girl pregnanant as a kid that was obsessive, and lied to me about birth control.

Sometimes high-interest can be too high :D

Take her out, and have fun. But make sure you put something on the end of it.

She appears too. As far as I can tell she does not act like this with any other guy. She's actually kind of a snob and a bitch to other people. (other peoples words, not mine).

She's pretty hot too, so its not like she couldn't get another guy.

She sounds a bit odd. Perhaps she acts like this because she is nervous around you since, you, know she loves you,

What do you think of her? Other than being hot.

Could be nerves but I'm not completely sure. She's pretty confident overall. Her comment of "I love you" which was said multiple times, in my opinion does not mean much.

Honestly, I don't know what to think. She is a overdramatic person without a doubt. But would a overdramatic person do everything that she has done.

She's also started parking next to my car in the lot, and I actually teased her about it saying that she better not have put a dent in my door.

You two are so young adults your a bit older than her she's not even 20, or 21 yet. I would consider her 19ish. Sounds like she's having fun with you at your expense, flirting, teasing, toying and making you feel jiggery around her every word.

I assume you meant to say jittery? If so, I really haven't show much emotion towards her when she says stuff except giving her dirty looks like she's crazy.

I don't really see how this stuff could be happening at my expense when I blow off everything that has happened. I'm just documenting it here so it may appear like I get worked up when she is around. That is not the case.

You are on a downhill swirl. This girl is salivating all over you and you are taking full advantage to the point you tell her to tie your shoe. You are behaving like a douche on his best behavior, and what's worse is you sound like this young lady's superior.

Knock it off.

Boundaries.

You know very well she is sweet on you. She is immature. You set the boundaries. You know that dating coworkers is a minefield. Dating a coworker who is your subordinate is a bigger minefield. Dating a subordinate who is immature and insecure is a nuclear minefield. Asking a coworker or subordinate to get down on their knees and tie your shoes could very well turn into a fireable offense in addition to the nuclear minefield.

You are a douche. How dare you use and abuse this glossy-eyed, cow-eyed, star-struck woman and demand she ties your shoe. I hope she gathers a couple of non-star-struck brain cells together and goes to HR over this one. How DEMEANING!

And you're quite pleased with yourself over this! WTGDF??

Grow up, and grow and develop some humanity. Are you really that heartless, cruel, and disrespectful? Are you a sociopath? Is this a game to you? You know she's smitten...so just kick her a little...demean her and disrespect her and lead her on, see how far she'll go...you deserve everything you get...karma, sweetie.

I just have never had a girl be this bold before. Usually girls are a lot more reserved.

She's not that bold. Also as women mature they get more confidence. At 22 your experience has been limited to girls. At 19 this one is on the cusp of womanhood but isn't there yet.

If you like her ask her out already. If you don't like her, let her down gently but for heaven's sake stop dithering.

She is showing you she is interested.....blatant interested, serving it on a platter to YOU, and you are being all worried about it? Seriously all we get are guys whining/ bi&^% and complaining on here about mixed signals, and here you have it all out for you. STFU and ask her out.

So yesterday she seemed upset and I asked her what was wrong and she wouldn't tell me anything at first. Then she started talking and asked why I was being this way and I told her that I'm always like this. She then told me that I never added her back on snapchat when she wrote her username down on a piece of paper for me, when I asked for it. (She did this weeks ago) Trying to not come across as a dick I told her that I lost it or it might be on my dresser at home and she said " is that where you keep all the girls snapchat names/ numbers that you get?

I should also note that I told her I would find it and add her. Apparently that wasn't acceptable because later that night she asked a coworker for it and added me.

Yes girls can be forward. I was forward at her age. What I don't like is you leading her on, that is just downright cruel. Is it for your amusement? If so you're a d*** no matter in this situation.

Just let her know you're not interested. It's better then playing with her emotions.

Honestly I'm not trying to lead her on. I'm sorry if it appears like it. I'm not honestly sure what I want and that's why I have been kinda cold towards her.

I've always had trouble expressing my feelings and it always appears like I'm being an ******* but that isn't my intention.

This girl is definitely interested and is not shy to tell you so. If you guys have not gone out or done anything intimate (like a kiss, had very personal conversations, etc) she must just be very emotional, or she's really trying hard to get your attention. I know that I told a guy I loved him a while after he kissed and we had talked about things together and he was feeding me a whole bunch of compliments and promises.

I've known girls in school who gets very fixated on a guy they don't even know that well, some of them are more forward about it and some just hide it. I'd stay away from her if I were you and not tell her too much about yourself, and definitely do NOT tell her who you find attractive. Some girls (and guys too) go psycho with that.

So what do you want out of this? For her to stop being so forward with you? You want to date her? Don't want to date her? What's yer deal?

For right now just to be friends, possibly more. Yesterday things where slow so we had some time to talk and she hesitantly told me that she wanted to ask me a question. So I said go ahead and she got all giggly and shy and told me that when she goes home she talks about work to her friends and how I do all these funny and interesting things at work. Honestly none of the things I do are that interesting.

According to her and I sorta doubt this based on her demeanor, her "friend" or so she claims wanted to know if I was single. My immediate reaction was nope not interested, etc because I have no idea who this girl is and honestly there is no way a girl I never met before is gonna like me based on a couple stories her friend told her.

She kept asking me all morning why I said no to her friend and asked if I had a gf to which I said maybe. She also kept bugging me about adding her back on a snapchat which I finally did. No signs of Her appearnt "friend" that wanted to know if I was single. I honestly think she made her "friend" up but I didn't want to call her out on it.

I also went and got her lunch so I'm making progress

I didn't check my phone all day yesterday and she sent me snap with a picture of her car and where we would normally park with a question mark drawn in where my car normally would be. The caption was "sad Sunday and Monday". My days off are Sunday and Monday. I'm thinking about doing the same thing to her tomorrow? Maybe park where she normally parks

of course there is no "friend" she is asking for HERSELF dude!

She has an obvious crush on you. You either need to do something about it quick if you aren't interested because if you don't she is going to blow up on you.

What do you mean blowup?

I didn't respond to her last snap about me not being there but I would have thought she would be blowing up my phone like she kinda acts towards me in person.
