Changing EATING HABITS...

I don't eat good at all and would like to change that. What I need to do is stop fast food, and make meals with veggies and good stuff. That is hard for me to do, is to come home from work and put something together.

I am concerned about my health and weight, which I have no reason yet to be worried, but I should nip my bad habits asap before they get even more out of control.

How do you change your eatting habits?

One thing you can do is use a crock-pot. Dinner will be waiting for you as you walk through the door.

You do it gradually. It's easier to do in bits than all at once.

All this thinking about eatting, makes me really hungry. Should just go to bed. Good night for now.

Starving yourself is not the way to go. Go find a cookbook on 'fast, healthy recipes' and read through it. If there are a bunch of recipes that look fairly easy and that tempt you, buy it and use it. You can use a crockpot or you can make something one night and put it in the fridge and reheat for the next night's dinner.

Most fast food places have added healthy choices to their menus, too, so that eating at a fast food place can't be an excuse. Instead of going out, though, buy yourself the healthy types of frozen dinners. You can nuke most of them in five minutes on nights when you're too hungry to cook.

Plan your lunches in advance and take your lunch to work. You save a ton of bucks this way as well as eating better.

And you can grab an apple and an ounce of cheese for a quick healthy snack you can just throw in a bag last minute.

no sodas

I drink alot of soda and sweet tea !YES I,m pretty much a southern girl even though I was born a yankee.

Anyway these type of things make people hold or gain wait.

I have started to drink a big Glass of cool water instead of junk. Plus it takes away your thirst.I have lost two pounds in one month. But I also came off of birth control. So I'm not sure exactly. But I know it helps.I will see in another month.

Plus soda causes your teeth to decay. Not cool I have had 2 front fillings because of that.
The only advice I have is drink better and you will want to eat better too.

Fast food places have small salads and fruit cups if you dont have time to make lunch. Just tell yourself what you are thinking now when you order wich is so hard because those burgers are good. But, so bad for you.
