Just a quick question....how do you know you're bisexual? I mean, if you fantasize about people of the same sex, how can you tell if its just that, a fantasy, or something more that maybe should be given some thought?
If you are curious, why not experiment abit and see how you feel? I don't know if you're with someone now so that may not be possible...But if you are single, see what happens.
Obviously bisexuality exists for some people. Being bisexual means being attracted to BOTH sexes at the same time, doesn't it? If she prefers men but is still very attracted to women and has had sex with them too, that makes her bisexual.
ummm, yeah....there is no such thing as bisexuality. You are either gay or straight and will always prefer one sex over the other.
Bisexuality does exist. As long as you enjoy the company of both sexes, then I believe that they call that bisexuality. You may prefer one more then the other but if you enjoy them both, you are a bisexual.

I agree with The Riddler, bisexuality very much exists.
The way I define it is that you feel attraction for both genders. It does not need to be equal and you can indeed have a preference, but, for example... If a guy likes to look at other guys and occasionally fantasizes about them, but ultimately prefers to have a relationship with a woman, he could be as bisexual as, say, somebody who has had multiple sex partners of both genders.
I am bisexual. For me, I prefer men and I am currently married to one, but I have had relationships with females in the past and if I weren't married, I would most definitely consider potential female relationships just as I would with men.

thats funny cause many of the sex experts and researchers say that true bisexuality is non-existent. since they are the experts I would hope they know what they are talking about.
how come you don't see anyone clamouring to pass laws so that a person can marry both a man and a woman at the same time??
Hell, I've been attracted to the same sex before. Like, "Wow, she is really pretty." ....and then proceed to stare a bit. I've had women do this to me as well. Women study each other. Kind of like, what does she have that I don't have?
But, I don't fantasize about having sex with them.
That would be indicative of a bigger issue in my opinion.

I used to say I was bisexual. Now I just try not to be specific. I am sexually attracted to both, can have sex with both genders, but prefer the company of men -- so I feel that is not true bisexuality.
Also, IMO, in terms of sexuality and gender identity, I feel that bisexuality would also insinuate a certain gender-neutral affiliation so to speak. I have met a small selection of individuals who seemed like that.
But Kinsey did a bunch of research on the subject of human sexuality in the 1950s that clearly states that sexuality and gender preference is based on a continuum, so I have no idea why people are always ignoring this large body of research and still identify themselves as gay or straight.
Of course people in this country have so little respect for longitudinal research and statistically significant results that it's almost sickening.

Probably because the number of bisexual polygamists is pretty small. Bisexuality doesn't mean you fall in love with two people simultaneously. It means you may fall in love with a homosexual or a heterosexual and be equally sexually attracted to either.
so the sequel to Brokeback Mountain will deal with two statisticians
who have to battle the statisticiaphobes who won't accept their joint research techiques?
