I am slightly confused and unsure how to go about this. My g/f and I dated for a year and a half, she was getting ready to go to Germany to study for a year, but a few months before she left she told me she was having feelings for a guy that used to go to college with her but he ended up transfering out of state, which is when I met her. Knowing full well she was leaving and never had any intentions of pursuing an LDR with me while studying abroad, I broke up with her under false pretentions. Hating myself for what I did and wanting to spend the remaining months with her, I told her my true reasons for breaking up with her but it was too late, she had actually started seeing the other guy and they have been in contact while she has been overseas and via email she has told me that her heart and emotions are fully vested with him. In the meantime I have become very close friends with her bestfriend. My ex in Germany came home to visit the last few weeks and we hung out 3 times, her calling me to set up a meeting. But most of the time we hang out she keeps talking about the things we used to do together. I would catch her eyeing me up when she thought I wasn't looking and she keeps completing me on how nice I have been dressing and how I look with long hair and a beard. She is leaving saturday morning and I will not see her in person till the end of July/early August. The first six months we talked online and through email almost every day. I am wondering if I should just not even talk to her the next 6 months and wait till she contacts me when she is home.
