Now this is a very interesting one…
A little while back when I was in a house of a friend… I was faced with a guy my friend was dating… Now they had some bad dates before them… But what I found most annoying was that he was jokingly asking me out… And of course my answer was always negative.
Then we were speaking about people I did not know!!! And he suddenly started rating people in pictures… Then it was a picture of a person that I had heard much about yet have never seen her… The picture resembled nothing of what I had imagined, also it looked like a bad picture, u know the kind of pictures I mean!!… so I asked another friend present… This is not a very good pic, right!!! So the guy was like well she is a 6/10 like you…

I ignored him and continued with my conversation…. But I must say… I did not appreciate being rated…. And I did not understand why a person would say such a thing…
Now my question is:
Why would a person say such a thing?
What would be the best answer without sounding petty and childish?

Because hes being an a$$. Yes hes acting childish, ignore it.

What gives people the right? And what do they really think they can achieve from their silly behaviour? Or do they think at all?

Hard to say why people act the way they do. I guess we all have the "right" to act like an a$$, but could be hes trying to come across as cool. Or a know it all. Or it could be he is just totally clueless about people, and people feelings etc. I wouldn't let it bother you nor let him get to you. Stay clear of him.
