can we delete threads?

hi everyone,
im still new on this site and i was just wondering if i can delete my own threads?

If you make a post, you can edit it but I think there's about a 10 minute time frame. After that, the post stays. As far as I know, that is how it works.

You can read the guidelines for more information on posting but I'll give you a quick answer here.

Once a thread is started only moderators can delete it. Posters have a short time-frame to edit their posts.

If someone creates a thread and others have spent time posting replies and the original poster (OP) later requests that the entire thread be deleted we will normally not delete it because the subject is still being discussed and may have some information that others find useful. That is why we caution people to not include any personally identifying comments or names within their posts.

If a thread becomes hostile or veers way off topic we will edit or delete off-topic posts and sometimes close a thread to further posting.
