how do you keeps yourself from getting hurt? lets say you like this gal. you believe she like you-gives you glances and looks, but never initiates conversation with you-even though u initate it with him. you get the idea from the glances that she's interested in you. so you ask him out, he says NO and gives you an excuse-i'm busy....something

what do you do if you really like this guy and you have build in feelings for him b/c you also believe he likes you. i didn't act on it on time-this gal has been in several of my courses, but never has once came up to me and i never came up to her-to talk. i think and am pretty sure she likes me or i think she does by the glances.
1 more month till school finishes and all the wasted time, if i don;t ask her out again -i won't be seeing her again .

i been checking out other gals wit the idea of her-catching a glimpse of what is happening -and i see that she has a big frown and mad look directed at me when this happens. sometimes she even says under her breath "aalways checkin out other girls", "what a flirt",....not sure if she is playin or really likes me but wayyyy too shy to go out or even flirt.what do u guys think of this action.

has anyone of you liked someone sooo much and when u ask em out they said No, even though you thought they would say Yes.

Joel, please make sure you actually TALK to the girl before assuming she likes you and you ask her out on a date. Try and become friends with the girl first. Normally, I wouldnt recommend that to a guy, but in your case, I think you need some girls in your life, even if they are just friends!

To be frank, joel, you've always had this insecurity about girls. You remind me of this guy I knew in university. I think he was stalking me or something. Yah, I met his glances often, but he never said ANYthing to me. Instead he just gave any guy I talked to a very dirty look. And the more he did that, the more I looked out for him. He started to creep me out and I wanted to make sure if he was around.

Joel, forget dating for the time being. You need to work on socializing skills first! Meet people, become friends with them, learn to interact with others.

and another thing....it is ok to ask a woman out the first time you meet her after you've talked for 10 or 15 minutes. why are you waiting months and months? the anxiety just builds and builds over that long time period.

next time you meet a girl you may like then talk with her for 10 minutes and ask her out. if she says "no" then you just lost 10 minutes and nothing more...

yea u now what i thin in a way i rushed it too fast- i should have gotten to now her more-be friends first then ask her out -i mean how does she now ur not a pscyho . this is in the college setting. not sure if the friends first thing would have really helped .
i saw her profile on freindster recently-it says shes "in a relationship" maybe thats why-then why was she glancing at m e all along-damn girl and when i asked her out she said "NO i have lots of homwork"-sure first wk of school. "maybe next time". is that maybe a really a maybe or jsut a soft nlow. i hate girls that are like that-jsut be direct yes or no and no more maybe this and that.

ireally think the best way to meet a gf is through freinds, whos going to date someone they hardly even now. its too scary well for women.
i gotta start making friends wiht guys who got girls or are more of the outgoing type-i tend to attract and feel compatible with the loner, quiet, vid games type of guys-i need to stop hanging wiht em.
