specifailly lebanese guys. i was wondering what ppl here think. theres a few guys in my high school here there lebanese and i think thier so hot. they have nice skin color, nice eyese, sleek black hair etc... i just wanted to know the norm here. thanks
I don't know about lebanese men in specif but I have been strongly attracted to some ME men. I actually started to date one but in less then 8 days I busted him with another woman in his bed sleeping. She is the complete opposite of me in looks. He tried to play it off by telling me that nothing happened and she had been evicted from her apt and needed a place to stay. He had a previous relationship with her and I found out later that he still used her and others for his own gratification. He was very charming, Very handsome, sweet, attentitve and affectionate. He lied to me so I told him he would never touch me again and he didn't. I wouldn't allow it.
"Play me once-your fault; Play me twice-my fault."
I have a gf who has dated a ME man for 7 years. She has had her share of issues. From what I have learned ME men are devoted to their families. A wife generally is less then his mother. His mother, father, brothers, sisters always come first.
I am only speaking from what I have learned through my gf's experiences. She has done everything to adapt to their lifestyle including learning the culture, customs, cooking their kind of food and even the language. She very often feels like she will never be good enough for them because she isnt ME herself.
She has witnessed that the ME men who relocate to the city she lives in generally play all the white women. Most dont believe in monogomy. In their culture they can have more then one wife if they can afford her and have the ability to take care of her. I'm sure there are ME men who are one man one women type but I don't know the odds.
I do know I don't think I will ever get involved with a ME man again. I am too outgoing, outspoken, independant, and American to adapt to their standards. I will admire their handsome features from a distance.
If I have offended anyone here I am sorry. This is just my humble opinion and my witness.
There culture is so different from the American culture. I have too big of a mouth and I believe in monogomy.. One man to One woman....I also believe when a man and a woman come together they are as one. He leaves his birth family and puts HIS family (wife and children) first.

Around these parts - there is a huge Lebanese community. They have a very bad rep..that being..they don't value or respect women at all. The women are treated like property and usually are totally treated like crap! There is a great number of these Lebanese guys who are in gangs around here (there are 2 main organized gangs: Vietnamese and Lebanese)...so you just don't F*CK with them.
I think physically, they have great features (tall, dark, handsome). But, you won't see me with one, unless I feel like being treated like crap. That may be a stereotype, but it's almost always 100% true here in Calgary, Alberta (Canada).
I went to school with a Lebanese girl who (at age 11) knew who her husband would be. ARRANGED MARRIAGES THIS DAY IN AGE? IN THIS COUNTRY? yes, the women have no choices while the men can scurry around and take what they want. Pretty sick if you ask me....
aight thanks ppl, just wante dto see what ppl think here
im hooked to a guy here, hes so attractive, and seems so innocent and a good person. ill try my luck tomorrow

housebaby i thought women loved tough gangsters?
bad boys and all of the good stuff
ps if you don't F*CK with then how you found out that they are bad.
are you gonna judge something without trying it?

1) I never said it wasn't a stereotype (of course it is!)
2) This is just the "common stereotype" around Lebanese & Vietnamese in Calgary...
3)Of course they are not ALL gangsters...people around here just treat them like they are - because you don't know - they may be...it's not like they wear colours or anything -- just racial profiling actually.
4) Ya, some women like gangster types, bad-boy types, guys with power types, etc....and that's why they always have hot girls swooning over them
5) How do you know I havn't tried it? do you honestly think I drew my conclusion from heresay?
I'm all about Oded Fehr. I watched The Mummy twice: once out of curiosity, the second time for him!

So you judge by listening to people not exploring yourself

And no wonder why they all end up with bruises and endless complains. and yet 13 to 17 year old girls giving birth and don't even have a job at a dunkin dounuts

i think she's saying it is a common stereotype in a specific area she knows. it's no different than saying West Virginians have no teeth or New Yorkers are rude or Kentucky parents are brother and sister.
like for example, most of the drug dealers in the city i live near are black. also, most, not all, of the black people there are drug dealers. stereotypes aren't fair all the time, but there is a reason they exist. and even if it not true, i am not exactly rushing to that part of the city to find a date, much less go in and investigate to find if the stereotype is wrong. some chances aren't worth taking.
i prefer plain old white guys, it's my standard and it's worked well for me so far. and no, i'm not racist, i just like what i like.
does anyone know the point of these posts? aren't all people's preferences different?
it's like starting a thread saying "do you purple is the best color ever?"
