Ditto! I really hope you haven't removed this feature.

Also, what happened to our old messages or unread PM's from the old format? Can we retrieve them at some point in time or are they a-goners for good?

Left click the person's online button and let go.. a menu should come up on the end of your mouse and Send this person a PM is one of the options

Javascript does have to be enabled for the menu to show up

Question Private Messages
Why can't I access my Private Messages? It tells me that I do not have access to this function- I did before??????????

yeah this seems to be happening to a lot of us...i guess we just have to wait it out or something.....

I actually have noticed that at the bottom of each section it shows who the moderators are. When you click on their names it shows they have access to private messaging.

So does that mean that members do not have PM access anymore? Only Mods do? Or is it just not set up yet.

Sorry if I seem pushy about it, I just would like to know if it will be enabled again or if we've lost this feature.

If you click on the members name link an option is to PM them, but I can't find the PM mailroom...yet

We're currently looking into this. The Private Messaging area should be working, but it appears that is not the case.

I'll post more once I have more information.

As whichwayisup noted, we've put in a workaround that should allow established members to have access to private messages again.
