question about wieght lifting

hey i work out at lifetime and am trying to get buff

my question is, will using those crazy ass machines where you do like, bench press but its without the bar and you use handles instead get you the same results as using the classic bench and stuff?

oh and, will using a machine that works the abs get me the same results as doing sit ups? or is it better?

Nope.

They isolate one muscle group. Free weights make you use a lot more (supporting) muscles.

The machines are OK in addition to free weights, but they it's not good to rely on them alone. You would get a big chest but it wouldn't be as strong. It would be strong only for using the machine.

The ab mahines can work if you have insanely good form, but crunches are better.
