When you run away, problems always catch up to you. Always. If you eliminate the source of the problems - there's nothing there behind you waiting to pounce.

Here is one that applies to me (and probably many): I am very frustrated at work. It's a dead-end job, so I feel stuck and I could cite a million different other reasons why I don't like it here.

GAWD, this is SO over-simplified . . . anyway . . . if I leave, I would be eliminating one of my problems, BUT the employment problem remains. I could find work elsewhere, but that doesn't mean that I would be happier or even get paid the same amount.

Also, I don't enjoy living in an apartment. I am sitting by watching my daughter waste her time on a loser. My mom is elderly and my siblings find every reason (excuse) not to even VISIT.

I'm just thinking that if I blew this pop stand, everything would be "out of sight, out of mind".
