so i finally met my bf's family yesterday. yikes! i was a little nervous but the moment we picked them up at the airport, i just felt i had an instant connection w/ them. they were all very nice to me. i never felt uncomfortable.
so as soon as we got home, i made some dinner (lobster tails!
, and a couple of other seafood dishes). boy did i make a pretty good impression on his mom and his sis!
they loved it. and his sis told me that it's very hard for their mom to get impressed on culinary skills because she's a very good cook herself (i'm not!). so big brownie points for me!
at the end of the night, my bf said, "you rock!" i try.
i just thought i'd share it to you guys... it's a pretty good feeling to have right now... i can let out a big sigh of relief now... *sigh.......
