Question I'm attracted to an older guy that seems interested, what to do??

Hi!

My situation's that im really attracted to this guy that works in my fave restaurant.
I dont know much about him but his name, and some stuff about how he is. I know he's really shy, a hard worker and really loves to have a laugh (dont we all tho' lol).
Anyways, go to this restaurant almost weekly, sometimes more than twice in a week sometimes less, and ive noticed weird stuff he does:

1: When i go in and he notices i've come in he stares at me. really noticeable, like if he's talking to a friend and is laughing, then notices me n his expression changes to a like "oh!" expression n he stares.

2: He's always close by when I'm there, like theres been like 3 times that ive gone late, so he gets his break and sits down to eat, and always sits near. Thrice he sat right behind me n one of those times back to back!! When no ones ordered anything he usually stands in a pillar in the middle of the restaurant to see if anyone wants anything, always in the same place, and then last time i went he stood in the side of the pillar that was close by my seat! and his working space was on the other side (he's a weitor, and each weitor has a space they attend), and that same day he'd go throw the trash in a trash can behind my seat and i swear id catch him glimpsing at me, and he always just takes the trash with the plates and trows it away in the kitchen, never by seperate.

3: He stares a lot. At first he did the whole 'glimpse and look away' thing like a million times, now he stares! If I look at him while he's looking he doesnt look away anymore. If he's standing in the pillar and i pass by he'd normally look away or at his feet or sumn, now he looks at me, more when i'm the one that looks away.

4: He's chinese and he has 2 other chinese friends there, so when he's talking to them or one of them they talk in chinese, and i could swear i've seen his friend point at me like 3 times when they're talking, and sometimes look at me and like nudge him or sumn. Once he was talking to one of them and he noded his head at me, like he was telling him sumn about me or sumn. and it's so noticeable, you cant even think "oh, he must be pointing at the clock or at my friend or sumn" cuz its that noticeable.

5: When he attends people hes usually really natural, even talks normally with some people, but when he's attended me he always looks nervous, smiles a lot n he tends to forget what drinks they serve when we ask.
Once I was trying to teach my friend how to use the chop sticks and he was standing near by watching, then he came up and asked for my chop sticks and showed my friend but was looking at me :S.

There are more stuff i've noticed but i cant remember now. And i've though maybe im just paranoid or imagine he looks at me but even my friends have told me that theyve caught him looking.

The thing is that im 15, n he works so he's probly like 18-20 thats the oldest he may be cuz he still looks young, but i mean, i have no prob with age differences, but mb he think im older n would have a prob. I'm really shy, but i could ask him out or sumn if i really wanted, but i wanna be sure he's interested. Or i could show him im interested, but i dunno how to.

Anyone have any advice for me on how to show im interested or what to do??

Nothing wrong with a nice smile when you see him looking your way. It will tell him you are friendly and would not mind him approaching you...

Hi BlackChocobo,

Based on your examples, I would say that he's interested, if not fascinated , about you. I can sense that he wants to ask you some questions!

Perhaps when you're there next time, find out when his shift ends... if it ends during the day, you can ask him to join you right after his work is done for a snack or a cola at the restaurant. You know he's very shy, and he'll really appreciate that you took the initiative to break the ice with him.

While you're talking, you can ask him about all sorts of questions such as his age to eliminate the guessing. Bring friends with you to make the setting more natural .
