The ignore user option......

Okay, so what's so great about this feature? It seems pretty ineffective to me.

It STILL shows that the ignored user has posted - and says 'click' if you want to see what they wrote.

So what's the purpose of it???

Hmmm, well resisting the urge to see what they posted is why it's hidden from you. I think it might be a software limitation issue.

I see it on the people I have ignored but I don't click to see what they have to say. Frankly, I don't care

It's a buffer for the narrow-minded so they don't have a mental breakdown due to differing opinions. Never saw the point of using it myself.

Its best use IMHO is to shut off someone who insists on sending you abusive PMs.
