[broken guy]

Well, its been a week since I got any text message from my ex. If you remember, she asked about my parents divorce and I told her only to never get a reply and her ex-housemate lying saying I had been saying nasty stuff about her and to cut me off.
Well, I was thinking about how she got upset when I moved my stuff out a month ago and she asked to see me for a drink as she wanted to know how I was doing (this was 2 weeks before I got the news of the divorce, made her cancel plans, went round and confessed about the problems at home and how I really wanted her back and that I had changed, regardless of the new BF she has), do I just say let meet for a drink? I know I probably shouldnt as I do still care deply for her and the thought of her and her new guy is horrific, but I just want to show her I CAN be cool and not cry. I was very nonchalont (?) in the beginning and I think that is why she seemed to get upset as I moved my stuff out, i acted as if I didnt care, then 2 weeks later I am in the same place trying to win her back after saying I wouldnt. What do you think? I KNOW Ive been told to let her be but I feel like I have left on a bad note.
