For some reason my thread, How do I avoid being permanently trapped in the "friends zone"? was deleted, so we'll just pick up where we left off.

Her ex is exhibiting some stalker-esque tendencies, like showing up at her job/apartment and calling several times a day. He simply won't take 'no' for an answer, and he has somehow convinced his friends and family that he is the victim in all of this. Since she has nowhere else to turn, do you all feel that a protective order may be the only viable option left? I know it seems a little drastic, but his behavior is beginning to spiral out of control and I am very concerned for her well-being.

Actually it wasn't deleted. I noticed last night that a mod must've decided that a different title was more interesting. Here it is
