Help explain how women show love

Ok so I am new here. I have a question for all the ladies. How do you show your man that you love him? I guess what I want to know is what do you do that he may not realize that shows how much you love him?

do those little things for him without making a big deal about it. like putting gas in his van when I notice it's running low so that it's one last thing he's got to worry about when he next drives it. I've also run it through the carwash (personally, I don't care if it looks dirty, but he's pretty faithful about keeping it clean outside).

if I'm at the store, I pick up things for him that I know he'd like but wouldn't normally get for himself because of the cost. Nothing major, but something that I know he'd enjoy -- frappachinos are at the top of that list, he refuses to spend the money even though he loves those things.

treating his family like they were my own -- he loves his sisters to death even though they sometimes can drive him nuts. I think he appreciates that I worry about them and care about them the same!

basically it boils down to doing those things for him to make his life a little brighter -- like the surprise box full of frappies from Sam's Club or sending his sisters a card just because. It makes him feel loved, or so he tells me ...

i agree with thinking of him while you are at the store and bringing him back something he really likes. That always puts a huge smile on my boyfriend's face.

but as far as things he doesnt notice so much, or may not think about... perhaps anything she does that is not normal routine.. for instance, in my relationship, my boyfriend is the cook.. so he usually cooks for me. But sometimes i will switch it up and cook for him, even though i hate cooking.

also, making an effort to change bad habits that irritates your SO. example, i hate it when my boyfriend doesnt rinse out his dishes before he puts them in the sink, but it is a habit of his. When i told him it bugged me, he stopped doing it (well, as much) and that lets me know he cares.

just the little things!

Thanks ladies for your responses. I think that it is great that women show how they feel and more guys need to do the same. To me it's the small things that she does that mean so much to me. I am very sentimental so little things mean a lot.

I like to show my love with:

* Hugs and kisses
* Little strokes - ankle, arm, wherever
* Nurturing with food, especially if it is something he esepcially likes, and that I have made
* Telling him he's fantastic
* Telling him how happy I am with him

Simple, yet effective.

That's all good & all, but for arguement's sake if you are totally bashing your bf or SO and complaining 9 out of the 10 days, then one day do something that might make him feel good, it is all moot. Reading marriagebuilders, they talk about the 'love' bank. Complaining, argueing, etc.. takes money out of this bank. Doing something good replenishes it. So not is it only just the little things that matter, its how you interact with your SO everyday that's truly shows how much you love them. Going too low in your account will be causing breakups.
