Should I kiss her? 2nd/3rd date

Hi everyone,

I met a great lady online a few weeks ago. She's 31 and I'm 32. We have a similar sense of humor and enjoy getting out to do different things. We met for the first time on the 4th of july to watch fireworks. We hit it off well and talked for about 3 hours afterwards. We planned another date for yesterday, which turned out to be wonderful! We spent the whole day together going to museums, out for lunch & ice cream, to the pier by the river, and to the botanical gardens in our city. We flirted a lot, but no kissing or anything...but we stood close enough to touch at times and the flirting included touching, leaning in while laughing, etc. etc. btw, we are both women.

After we finished for the day we talked for over an hour before we said goodnight. After we said goodnight, she called me about 10 minutes later to ask me to go to a music festival next weekend. Since we only can see each other on the weekends right now, i said yes. So, we have a 3rd date planned. It's that way because I'm in graduate school and we both have full-time jobs, so it's hard for me to get together on the weekends. We live in the same metro area but about 45 minutes from each other.

I don't know if there are any "dating rules" or whatever, and that you're supposed to "go with the flow". But I'd like to kiss her and I'm not sure if the 3rd date is appropriate or not. Should I ask first, or should I just recognize the "right time" and go for it? I don't want to have any regrets and make her think I'm not interested in her that way, because I am. But I don't want to move too fast either, and scare her away. I want to be *sure*. Or, should I chill and enjoy the time I spend with her, and let her make the first move? ().

Sounds like she is very pleased!!! Ladies won't call back 10minutes after a date just ended to invite the other person out unless they were very "impressed" (as your probably know). It's a very good sign

Asking the person I find is always romantic... yet it also somewhat adds more pressure into the situation, since the other party now knows "OMG, We're going to kiss", but this can add to the excitement! It is still very cute and respectful to ask in my opinion.

You could also just wait for the right time, and move in for the kiss. Problem with that is... When is the right time? Many people I know have a hard time judging, and usually end up missing out. Others, (specifically for this reason) wait till the end of the night (during the goodbye), because for most, that is usually what is on each others minds "are we going to kiss?"...

You could.. but who's to say that she will? I say if you want to kiss her, and it seems like the right time, go for it. If she doesn't want to be kissed, she may just go in for a hug or a peck on the cheek. There is no harm in that! Just lets you know that she does truly want to take things slower.. and it may strike up a conversation about your dating status (which is always helpful)

Depending on the type of personality could somewhat help determine how you should go about kissing her. (I.e., if she's very outgoing, likes to have a lot of fun, etc... a spontaneous kiss may just be what she is looking for.)

I suggest just to go with the flow, and enjoy it. I'm sure however you kiss her will be special to her (especially since she seems so interested )

Hope this helps!!!
