Is he just trying to play games???
Okay, so last night I am at the bar, (I am, sad to say, a regular) the bartender comes over to me and hands me a shot from "Scott". I had drank enough at that point, so I politely went over to him and said "thank you, but I have been drinking a LOT tonight and if I drink this, I KNOW I will puke"..my friend and I sat down with him and his two friends and one of them, Joe, asked for my number (many times). Personally I was intersted more in Scott. As we were talking, he mentioned that he knew I was a regular because he had seen me several times, but I was always "unapproachable looking"....during our conversation, Joe told my friend that Scott was just a playa and that he has a girlfriend. My friend approached Scott on it and he denied it. She was real drunk and got a little fiesty with him, claming "your friend said you were, why the h*ll would I believe you saying you aren't"..he tried to defend himself, but she wouldn't listen, so he said to me "I'm gonna run to the bar, do you want anything?" He came back and I had gotten up to run to the restroom. So, on my way back, he stopped me and said: " I am leaving, but can I give you my number? I would take yours but I broke my phone tonight. I am gonna go get a new one tomorrow, so call me in the afternoon, ok?" I hugged him and he left. Now the question is: Do I call? Is it possible Joe lied because I didn't give him my number? Would a guy really rat out his friend like that??? Should I just go for it and see how it goes??
