ReturnToSender Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 I hope that you can celebrate with me lol!!! I just had the most wonderful date ever I am so giddy its ridiculous!! We actually met on an alternative site, not exactly for dating... And he admitted hes probably on the wrong site for what hes looking for, and I could say the same of myself. We talked on the phone, and immediately he asked me if I would be free for dinner tonite...usually Id say no cause well, not to seem sooo available, but I decided be darned, our convo was great, lets meet. And Im SO glad I did! And what was to be a small dinner ended up being a 4 hour date that had to end way too soon... Conversation flowed so easily, hes so handsome...better than his pics! And he seemed pretty happy with me too hehe!! When we were getting ready to leave, the bartender asked us if it was our first date and we giddily said yes She was looking at us like it was the sweetest thing she ever saw..and Id have to agree! On my way home, I called up my friend and he was pretty thrilled for me..and he said...woah does this mean your heart is over the ex? And I had to say...yeah I mean, Im so thrilled and excited over this guy..in a way I never thought Id feel again. I mean, its bound to happen I guess but, its wonderful to experience! I just hope that things work out...that we continue to have a great time together and that something really comes of this...I could say more about what we have in common and how well things flow but then Id just be gushing (as if I havnt been already lol) Im sorry..In just blabbering on here but...really, Im so happy right now I could burst and I had to share.. I dont want to get my hopes up, but this guy really is wow. Im keeping it in mind that we met off of an alternative/adult site, but I have to say...the whole time we really werent talking about that, he was a complete and total gentleman. Funny thing too is, he said hed been on the site a cpl months and most of the girls were fake profiles/cam girls/escorts, and the few girls he met either lied about thier age or pictures and he was out of there in 10m. His membership was supposed to expire last week and he was so mad to realize he was on recurring billing and got charged again. The very next day is when I got my membership and he saw my profile! When we parted, he gave me a huge hug and a peck on the lips...then he quickly said....that wasnt our first kiss! That doesnt count! lol and I was like wha? He said he never expected this would go so well and that he wants to do everything right to make everything as special as possible, especially how I remember our first kiss. Then he gave me another quick peck and said that one doesnt count either hahaha! Hate to break it to him, but the way he did that was so sweet that Im going to remember that as our first kiss anyway Hes going out of town tomorrow so we wont see each other again til next week. Damness man.... But not letting that get me down. I have a date tonight, a date Sat nite, a Sun brunch date and a coffee date Mon... Four different guys. I have never ever ever had this many dates lined up in my life...even when I had a bf Hah! And I have to say, its kind of exciting!!! So Im not down about that guy at all...just moving forward... Oh, well. One of the strange concepts of online dating is that the date can go perfectly, yet there's no moving forward. It's simply a pleasant evening among strangers. On Mon eve I called and left him a short vm just saying I hope his trip went great and talk to him soon. Tues nite out of curiosity I checked his profile and it said he was on "yesterday" meaning Mon, then later that day it said he was online a few hours ago...same thing Wed which is the last time I looked at his profile. So yeah, hes just not getting back to me.. and at this point Im hoping I dont hear from him again! Im back from tonights date...the guy is super sweet, super good looking and sexy too Hes still hooked on his ex though and I know hes not looking for a relationship, just someone to have fun with...he said flat out that hes not looking for a relationship. I appreciate it that hes upfront about that and Im totally down with just being "friends" My Sat date on the other hand, from our convo I think hes interested in more than something casual and Im intrigued. I don't know, at this point I think my thing is to just enjoy the moments and see where things go....to not take anything seriously until it really is serious so that I dont get my hopes up and deflated like with this last guy...
