There's this girl that whenever I'm around her, I get short of breath and feel sick. I'm certainly not in love with her. Do you think this could be a chemical reaction or some sort of allergy?

I agree that it's an allergic reaction and my guess is it's to her perfume, cologne or other body application. May even be to the soap she wears.

Then again you may be more fond of her than you're willing to admit. Very rarely does a woman take my breath away!
