Don't you just love it when they have a meltdown?

Asked the wife to drop off some baby items for a friend because our youngest is too big for them.

Took 4 days of asking her to drop them off.
Then she took it upon herself to disassemble one of the jumpers to wash it & lost a crucial part.

I ask her why she couldn't just drop it off like I asked.
And she started yelling at me, accusing me of being jerk & telling me not to yell at her.
I wasn't.

I was trying to talk to her & then realized I don't have to deal with this crap anymore.

So I hung up. And didn't pick up the phone anymore.
She left 4 messages that went from total meltdown yelling to "i'm sorry" WTF.

She called me back later & apologized.
I told her, next time I ask her to do something either straight out tell me "no" or do it.
Don't add-lib.

I think i'm just very easily annoyed with her because she acts like she didn't destroy our marriage, family, & left me financially devestated & honestly thinks we can be friends.

I'm civil to her for the kids sake.

eh, just venting.

VENT AWAY phin! That's what we are here for...

I hear you dude. 6-7 weeks I was having a civil conversation with the STBXW. It wasn't going exactly how she wanted it and she screamed thru the phone at me. She had never done that in 16 years. I hung up.

Back then (and a little recently as well) she had the nerve to say she wished I would stop bothering her with "discussions" about us ... Hmm, Sorry to annoy you - but you sort of bothered me with how you destroyed the family, the marriage, and me (for a while at least) - and it continues to bother me that you NEVER once told me anything until it was too late and then after telling me you wanted a D you NEVER tried to work together to fix the M - not even for one sec.

So sorry to bother U ...

Well, I just found out that her wages are being garnished for past debt in her name.

No wonder she needs money from me all of a sudden.

She told me she had taken care of everything BEFORE we were married.
I believed her.

Why wouldn't I?

She's an idiot.
We could of file bankruptsy together but she said she didn't need to do that.

Wow phin - your W sounds like my STBXW. (all from the same mold, possibly?)

At the time of the ILYBINILWY speech ... My STBX had about $30K in debt and almost no assets. I had NO debts (save for the mortgage which doesn't count as a debt) and I had $350K in assets. I told her let's work this out. I would have help her with her debts and we would have shared in the assets as we grow old together. "No, I just want my freedom to be happy". Be Free then baby. She is an idiot too. Look what she is walking away from - all in the name of getting f*cked by her 18 yr old BF!!!!

Why would yours lie about the debts? doesn't make any sense. What did it gain her by hiding it?

Feelinglonely, I have read a few of your posts and I actually look forward to your post when you write something along the lines about how the 18 year old gets caught with an underage girl, gets busted by the police and the ex comes crawling to you on her hands and knees and you just stare down at her with a s**t eating grin on your face. Dunno if you would laugh at her or not but if I was in your shoes I probably would.

I completely agree - there is no way they are going to grow old & live happily ever after....I bet a few people could comment on the 'grow old' bit!!!!
