I was married at 31, divorced at 32 and have single parented my daughter since I was 3-months pregnant. I returned to my publishing-industry job after just 14 weeks of maternity leave and three months later I was made redundant… talk about stressful! I had a daughter, a full time nanny share, a mortgage and all the bills that go with London living and parenting. I’d had a period of post natal depression and I was struggling with finances, single parenting, self worth, communication with the ex and health and fitness.

I would love to hear from single parents.

Hi jb - just want to say welcome to LS. Sorry you are struggling so much.
Your post doesn't tell us much about your situation now.
Are you still in the same residence?
Is the depression still affecting you?
How are you doing with respect to employment and finances now?
Do you have a support system available (family, friends, ...)

I am uncertain from your post how long ago all that you described happened. Or if it is possibly your current situation. Let us know a little more. There are some very wise and caring folks on LS that will be able to share some very helpful advice with you.
