Question long distance

This friend of mine lives about 500 miles away. We were platonic (over IM and texts) for a few months, until I visited him 2 months ago. We we pretty intimate...and you know. I came back, things were normal, not weird at all. We were back to being awesome friends, IM'ing and texting almost every day and flirting a bit here and there.
I visited him again a week ago. I came back and he's been all MIA. He sent me one text, asking me about something very random. He hasn't really taken the initiative other than that to try to contact me. I called him for some help on something dumb, and he never picked up or called back. I called him up 4 days after I got back, asking if he was okay. He was, he was busy with schoolwork. I totally understand that. I have school and work!
But my question is, is he not into me anymore? I am not sure what he is thinking. It is quite unusual for him to be so MIA. I miss my friend. And yes s** makes things awkward, sure, but why this time (2nd time)?
Thanks in advance
