Wonderbaby!
Has arrived! And she is a whopper, I certainly overcooked her she is 10lbs!

She decided to tease me for days with false labour pains, turns out things must have been having a pretty good dress rehearsal, because when she decided to come, there was NO stopping her!

Born 22.10.09 after a short 4 hour active labour and only 20mins of pushing.
Completely au naturale- no time for any intervention or proper pain relief, so managed with gas and a birthing pool.

I CANNOT believe I birthed a 10lb baby with no drugs. I am not a big person. I did need a few stitches.

As for having a BABY-its so surreal. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on, took a while for me to get my head around it, I think I am still in shock. I could watch her all day.

Whoa! Completely au naturale! YOU GO WOMAN!!!!!

I'm SO thrilled! Wonderbaby is blessed with strong parents and I'm sure she's going to be spoiled rotten!

Congratulations SB and Mr SB...

I hope you recover quickly and get rested up and back to normal fast as well..

Tell your husband that he doesn't ever have to stop smiling like he is now at the little wonderment.. I'm sure you both have not stopped all day..

I smile and laugh ( with the occasional cry ) every single moment I'm with our little boy....

She is just adorable. Much more alert now, looking at everything and taking it all in.
She settles herself to sleep really well which is awesome at such an early stage.

I am besotted (in case you can't tell). I would be OK with sleep except I keep sneaking into her room to make sure she is still breathing. (I can hear it on the monitor but I still need to check)
