Need to speed it up a little?

I`ve had this connection with this girl for a few weeks now and there is definitely interest on both sides. It`s been going slow so far and just getting to know each other, we're both 21, I hang out with her but it's usually when she`s with her friends or go out for drinks with a group of people. I was going to go out of town for a night to my town because I thought she would have plans with her friends made, she did not and I feel like we should really hang out 1 on 1. But if I tell her that I changed my mind and am not going home, I think I will look desperate to her. I could wait until saturday when we already have plans (but it is in a group again) but something is telling me that I wish we hung out 1 to 1 tomorrow too. What should I do?

GO FOR IT!

Maybe tell her something came up? And if the date goes really well, tell her it was her!

If you go home, you will be thinking about her all night. So, don't ruin a good night.

Exactly how I think I will feel... go home and think of her all night. I guess there is a risk of rejection since we plan to go out Saturday together (with a group), but I would like to spend more time with her sober and alone than drinking and with a group. Thank you for response - I hope I can think of a clever reason to use!
