I think women have a much easier time than men...
I was at work today wasting my money on food as I always do because I am stupid and lazy.
The usual 19-21 year old girls were at the restaurant serving customers where it occured to me that I should never be polite to them. They're there to serve me and they're getting paid very good money to be there.
Then I started to think about my life when I was that age. I was certainly not earning the money they are getting and I struggled to get a job. The jobs I could get were pretty dirty and horrible, basically the jobs that the young women where I was employed did not want to do. Remember I needed a job that fitted around college hours.
I thought about each of the ugly girls at my work, and the types of jobs they'd had, and again, much easier.
Women at my work tend to advance a lot quicker than the men. They'll be given preference for a lot of roles and that is seen as a good thing. They're able to enter the workforce through administration roles and usually get promoted to higher positions fairly quickly due to the fluid nature of our organization.
I guess the downside for girls is that they actually have to be a woman and are physically inferior to men and will never reach the same intellectual heights, but most times, ignorance seems to be bliss. They can also take time off work whenever they want to spend a few years with the kids and it is considered completely acceptable.
If I were to go and take a five year holiday to be with the family I'd never be employed again.
I don't like the way women are built up to be something special by society. I think half of them are spoiled little things that need to be taught that they have a place in society that is below men.
The ones that go out and work just as hard as a man should be considered equals. I am sick of seeing little girls (like the ones that sell me food at work) being treated like they're equals, because they're not. They're getting a free ride because of their gender and their looks and they should be treated as such.
