Why did you take your freedom of being anon away?

YOu think you will be able to track us down by making us register? We will use fake emails with fake names and you will never be able to no who anybody is on here. We will use public computers at public places and you won't ever be able to tell were we live.
You guys have become so rigid and anal, its unbelievable! We'll find a way to beat your new system. That I can guarantee!

The ability to post anonymously has not been taken away nor will it be taken away. Frankly, we don't care where you live nor what e-mail address you use. If you want the benefits of e-mail notification when new messages are posted and to protect your nickname against the abuse of others, then you are free to register. No one is forcing anyone to register here.

I don't see why you feel you need to "beat the system" here. Where does this animosity stem from? Why do you feel you've been wronged?

If, however, you're going to occupy your time posting messages in every forum that say this new system sucks, then I'm afraid, yes... we'll have to remove your access to it.

You have your opportunity here to tell us what's wrong. Using words like "it sucks" or "it's crap" isn't going to get anything changed.

Regards,
Paul

P.S. -- Is he still calling you from Panama?

Haha and you're comfortable with being _that_ pathetic?

"Ahhhh we're total cowards so we'll creep around in the shadows, using computers that don't belong to us and creating e-mail addresses for the sole purpose of being able to post on some message board. We R s0 er33t!"

Seriously, people like you need to recognize a couple things.

1.) The computers that host message boards like this are NOT free. You have no right, implicit or otherwise to use them. That is a privilege granted to you by the system owner. If he or she doesn't want you posting on here, well, tough **** for you. If you continue to post then you are just flat out violating their property.

2.) Nobody cares where you live. The fact that you think your address would be of any use to a system administrator is just sad. It's not like they can ban you by your physical address. They ban by IPs, in case you didn't know.

Just my 2 cents...

i was gonna say that ur freaking out too much about this, and that many many other boards are WAY more strict... like, they dont even consider allowing anon posting, and some even have admission processes that u have to go through to be accepted... and after that, u still only see some of the forums until u "prove" yourself, so this board is very lenient...

on the other hand, i'd understand cuz prolly a lot of ppl here have weird problems etc, and they wanna post totally anonymously ;p

anyways, just wanted to post

edit: fascists

I wanted to clarify that all posts made on LoveShack.org are anonymous to other users unless you chose to reveal your identity. Registering for an account here will not reveal who you are so long as you don't post that information in a message or in your profile. That said, we do log IP addresses of all posts to prevent abuse and for statistical purposes. This information is not available to users on this site and is a common practice throughout the internet.

If you chose to give out your full name or e-mail address, then you have identified yourself. The act of registering will only allow you to ensure that no one else uses your username to post messages and that you can use the new features of the site, such as e-mail notification when someone replies to subscribed thread or forum.

We are working to make this clearer in the registration process and throughout the site.

Even allowing users to e-mail you via the site will not disclose your e-mail address to others. The e-mail is sent through the forum system and the sender is never able to see your e-mail address. The only time they would obtain access to your e-mail address would be if you decided to reply via e-mail and not use the forum. I will make this clearer in the appropriate places on the site.

If you want to post with a different username, simply log out (using the link at the bottom of the forum's home page) and post your message using a username that isn't currently registered. Signing up for an account here does not prevent you from using other available names. You will need to log out to do it, however.

You do not need to register to use this site.

I hope this helps!

Paul
