Cheating, Flirting, and JealousyBeing unfaithful to your significant other or suspect them of the same? Can't stand the way they flirt? Jealous? Discuss your experiences here.
So this is really just an instance of petty jealousy on my part, but I wanted to vent.
What is it about my boyfriend's ex-girlfriends, long ago crushes and old flames? Every time something goes wrong with whatever relationship they might be in, they try to get in touch with my boyfriend. We're even talking about girls he had crushes on in high school (we're in our mid-20s), or girls who live 2000 miles away, or girls he hasn't talked to in months. And yet, it never fails, when they are unhappy in their relationships, the calls or messages happen:
If they don't know for sure if he's still dating me, they ask, "Sooo, are you still dating ____?"
If they know he's dating me: "Sooo, how's that going?"
My boyfriend is fantastic, and always tells them, "Yes, I'm still dating _____, and it's going wonderfully." I have no concerns about him cheating or anything like that. And it's not as if this is a first -- this has happened in more than one relationship I've been in. It seems like girls just like to think they always have one waiting in the wings, especially when the current one is shaping up to be a dud.
All the same, it drives me absolutely nuts. Go fix your own relationship or find someone new! Stop trying to make your next boyfriend my boyfriend!

When things aren't going well in people's lives, they tend to remember the good thing in past relationships and attempt to rekindle this or that...sounds like he is devouted to you...it's girls being girls..

You are VERY lucky to have a bf who is committed to you. Worrying about cheating is a terrible feeling.
The grass is always greener on the other side.
Be aware.
Women usually have the need to look for what the other has.
if he is taken, he must be special or a good specimen. I want him then.
