Can anyone think of a reason *other than cheating or being shady* why someone would have two MySpace profiles? I can understand if you have a band or some other thing going, business or whatnot. But why have more than one personal profile?

My bf has a 2nd MySpace. (He had a 2nd one before but had deleted it.) This new one does say "In a relationship" and that he's there for friends only. It's not a private profile. On the surface it doesn't seem shady because of those things.

Even if he was being shady and messaging people not on his friends list why wouldn't he just do it from his main page? I don't have his MySpace password and he knows that.

Does anyone out there have 2 or more profiles?

I don't have two, but I used to. Mostly because the first one got bogged down with advertisers and people I don't like. The second one allowed me to just pick the people I liked.

I don't know why someone would keep two. If you want to avoid being bogged down, I'd think you would delete the profiles that are bogging you down? I don't think I use myspace for the same purpose as many people. I only keep friends that I know and talk to on there. I don't add people I don't know, or bands, or any of that stuff.

LoveShack has dozens of members with multiple user names. They don't realize that moderators see the IP addresses and know who they are. Some even answer their own threads.

I think your guy may have two myspace sites simply because he can. He may just like maintaining them. People enjoy things for many different reasons. Stop questioning him and enjoy the ride. Life doesn't last very long and worrying about myspace crap is not my idea of a good time.
