One smiley short of a full deck

There are sixteen smileys, and only fifteen of them are displayed at any given time. If the one you want isn't "up" you must click the More link, then wait for the box to appear so that the one lacking smiley is now available.

Why can't we just have four rows of four and display them all?! Or, have the extra smiley by itself in the bottom row. I'm willing to sacrifice symmetry for ease of use.

It is kind of like being sold an egg carton with only 11 eggs and then having to get in the car at midnight and go all the way to the store to get egg #12.

Good idea, TBF. I'd also like a smiley with a more subtle smile, for those times when you don't want to smile like the Cheshire cat.

If we add two more smileys, then we can have six rows of three!

When I type this :P, it doesn't show the tongue sticking out smiley. Maybe I need a lesson.

How do you code the sick smiley?

And to me it always happens that the one I want is the one that is not there.

Right now this one is missing, that I've been using quite a lot.

To learn the code for each smilie, just click on the More link where the codes are beside the smilies.

It depends on how you've setup your message editor interface in your options within your profile. The basic editor will allow you to see the code. It's the last dropdown in your options.

Anyways, just click the More link to the smilies. All the code is there!

Got it.

But this one small aspect of the user interface is still not intuitive. Workarounds are great, but it doesn't change the fact that the GUI isn't working at top efficiency in this particular case.
