I found this information about LDRs really helpful and positive. Maybe someone else will too!

Great find, mattea! The "Separation Inventory" pdf also offers some interesting food for thought...

Thanks for sharing!

Best,

Hi there - i had checked out that link a while back, some interesting stats and info.

Unfortunately my LDR ended because my ex was unsure about her future plans in terms of living in my city full time again. I think having an end date when you will be together (whether it be to get married or move in or just live near each other) for good is key to survival.

We just knew it wasn't fair to either of us to keep things going if we didn't know when we'd be together again.

The blue font is kind of ugly, but at least it's a decent read.

My LDR ended because we didn't have as many freedoms, due to her job and my school, she eventually ended it... It sucked.

I really hate finding all these guides, after the fact.

Thanks for that link mattea

It appears that my LDR bf and and I see each other more, talk more and live a little closer than the "average" LDR couple (in this study anyway). Makes me feel kinda lucky actually

Very interesting!! thanks! Makes me feel more hopeful anyway... I still don't like having LD. I wish there was an easier way because I need to feel the intimacy with my LD bf. We hardly talk on the phone anymore, though we do talk, it's been rather long since we've had phone sex I really miss his touch and hug and kiss...
