Exfoliating Too Much

Is this possible? Because I've noticed my nose is getting kind of rounded off. Overall my face seems to lack the definition and detail it used to have.

On the other hand, I really have no zits at all.

Is this something you do as a routine?

Silly woman! That was never an Angels logo. It was a Colorado Avalanche logo.

If you're suggesting you can modify the shape of your nose through exfoliation, you're crazy.

You should only be exfoliating your face once, twice a week max. What are you using?

Is it the air in Colorado or what?

(maybe it's good that I didn't move there after all)

I've been using Gojo. I like how it smells.

What would happen if I did it more than twice a week?

Exfoliation should be done twice a week or it depends if you're using the heavy or light duty kind. If light, it can be use every other day.

He mentioned above what he uses. I think he said it was a Brillo pad.

Never heard of that brand. Do they have a facial cleanser that isn't as harsh you can use between exfoliating?

Over-exfoliation will remove the natural protective barrier on your skin, which will result in your skin becoming sensitive, actually more prone to breakouts, irritated and prematurely age. You can also wind up with a chronically red, irritated complexion.

You should only exfoliate once a week, unless you have really oily skin and then you can do it twice a week.

I wonder if I exfoliated my hips everyday if I could effectively make them a bit smaller.. what do you think?
